Measuring 160 x 60 metres, the dressage arena is laid with a blend of soil, sand, clay and fine plastic matter, offering excellent training conditions and preventing ground compacting.

The arena is bordered with a 360-metre track laid with a blend of sand, cotton fibres and liquid rubber, where grooms can walk polo ponies in batches. This mixture offers a firm but flexible floor throughout the year, notwithstanding weather conditions. It also prevents horses from treading down too far – hence facilitating cleaning – and is extremely agreeable underfoot.

During events, the arena can also be used as a public or guest car park for 200 vehicles.
